Our Mission & Story
Every journey of Ayurveda does not begin only in a clinic or a manufacturing unit. Many times, it begins at the reseller's counter — where a patient asks a question, a family seeks guidance, and a traditional remedy reaches the hands of common people.
The Ayurveda Resellers Association (ARA), Maharashtra, was founded in 2013 under Charitable Trust Pune with this understanding. ARA was created to bring Ayurvedic resellers together and strengthen their role in promoting Ayurveda with knowledge, responsibility, and trust.
What began as a focused effort to support Ayurvedic resellers has today grown into a wider platform for the Ayurvedic ecosystem. ARA connects resellers, doctors, practitioners, manufacturers, and the public through awareness initiatives, educational programs, medical camps, professional gatherings, and industry events.
Our mission is to promote Ayurveda by empowering resellers with the right knowledge, exposure, and support, while also spreading awareness among common people about the value of Ayurvedic healthcare and preventive wellness.
Over the years, ARA has built a strong community of more than 500 life-members and 500 associated doctors. Through more than 10 events and several ongoing activities, the association continues to support the structured growth of Ayurveda across Maharashtra. Even Ayush Mantralay recently recognised the efforts of ARA.
One of ARA's key initiatives is the annual Ayurved Mahotsav — a platform where Ayurvedic resellers get direct exposure to medicine manufacturing brands, new products, industry knowledge, and professional networks. Along with this, ARA regularly conducts medical camps, webinars, gatherings, and policy-awareness sessions to help resellers stay updated and better serve society.
For over a decade, ARA has worked with a simple belief: when Ayurvedic resellers are informed, connected, and empowered, Ayurveda reaches more people with greater confidence and credibility. Today, ARA stands as a community committed to awareness, collaboration, and the continued promotion of Ayurveda— carrying forward India's traditional healthcare wisdom through the people who bring it closest to society.
